Day 30 - Bayshore, Strawberry Hill, Cape Perpetua, Waldport

Here's the end of our little subdivision for the week - and the dunes want it back. We needed 4WD to move around in here.

Other people's driveways are waaay more challenging than ours.

And even more challenging.

These fossilized ancient alien egg-pod shells are preserved in Jurassic sedimentary rocks at Strawberry Hill. Needless to say, the scientific authorities have a "simple explanation" for these phenomena.

This cliff cave is well guarded, probably for good reason we aren't privy to. Best left alone.

Just havin' a little rest here.

A cliff side spring creates a unique micro climate that supports an unusual little eco system.

A bit ooie gooie isn't it?

They're at it again!

Round peg in round hole. The circumstances that caused this log to be wedged in this rock would have to be an exact timing of wave, position, and force. It's not coming out any time soon!

Wendy tops out Cape Perpetua without supplemental oxygen, a feat Sir Edmund can only dream of.

CIA van #410 - cover story, "Aftermath". Don't ever call that phone number.

Movin' the sand dunes in our neighborhood. It's a local pre-occupation.

An early evening walk in our temporary hood.

Getting in the driveway after dark is even more of a challenge.
