Day 32 - Bayshore, Cape Perpetua, Yachats

The morning entertainment begins from our front porch perch. Yup, they really are trying to load a 12 foot crate onto a 5 foot trailer. It's not going well.

The morning coffee spot, warm, sheltered from the wind, and the best neighbourhood entertainment you can't buy.

Emma collapses into a heap, bored with the crate loading theatrics down below.

Cape Perpetua, looking much like one of those little architectural models, or perhaps a Hot Wheels raceway.

That there is the wee hamlet of Yachats.

Spectators gather to see the loony photographer get swallowed by the giant blowhole.

While a much more stylish spectator confidently ignores the peril.

Back to the photographer... the blowhole is becoming irritated with his impertinence.

The giant sucking sound starts...

Do not mess with giant blowholes.

There may well be seal pups down there. There were other photographers willing to find out.

Meanwhile, we explore the very woods where the brothers Grimm baked up the story of Hansel and Gretel.

Breadcrumbs? Did you remember the bloody breadcrumbs?

Who needs breadcrumbs? The fleeting light will guide our path.

Oops, but it takes us to the zone of the most evil trees. We may need help from the Ewoks.

The Ewoks come through, and lead us back to the light.

From there, anything is possible.
