Roadtrip 2015 Spring: Vancouver - Astoria - Newport - Oceanside - Cannon Beach - Vancouver

Day 1 - Vancouver to Astoria

and so it begins ....... in Fairhaven - of course.

Uggggh. Seattle. I 5. It's raining.

In the Seatac area, Boeing doesn't even bother to hide their alien technology experiments anymore. We found this Cyclotronic Ion Beam Drive round back of a McDonald's. I think McDonald's might be using the overrun to cook their french fries. They smell of ions.

See?!? A couple of klicks down the road, here's Boeing's Magnetic Strange Weather Attractor. There ain't no such thing as "El Nino". That's just a cover story.

Something very real - no conspiracies - just plain old good fresh roast coffee - Longview's finest.

Never go into the woods.

Wendy relaxes in our beautiful room at the Cannery Pier Hotel, while the room capybara looks on.

That's the Cannery Pier Hotel. We can't figure out what's holding it up. It surely can't be the pier.

Now we get it - it's a suspension system - those engineers are so smart!

A few fine artifacts.

The Astorians in this neighbourhood decided to colour coordinate everything in a blue red palate.

Nothing stops wild broom.

It always happens. At the end of an old dirt road...

We find the DARPA shed in Astoria. No other shed needs that much electricity.

It is thought this old tanker truck was used to bring the first cloned human-asparagus hybrids to the DARPA shed. We didn't hang around long enough to find out what happened to them.
