Day 2 - Astoria to Newport

It's sleepy at the Sleepy Monk today - but coffee is ON!

Just like a scene out of the Amazing Race - this couple can't agree on which way to go.

It's our traditional haunt in Cannon Beach - who doesn't love Sleepy Monk Coffee? We looted 'em good today, and will be back for more plunder in two weeks.

New York's Statue of Liberty just stands there. With a book. Tillamook's can juggle.

Finally, after days and days of driving, countless coffee stops, bags and bags of Tim's Cascade potato chips, George's care packages from Purdy's, there is the beach. And the long, long wait while we read all of the regulations. Again. Really.

And then it begins.

There ain't nuthin' like a day at the beach.
