Day 17 - Sand Lake
Interesting things always happen at the ocean - river interface.
Today's route through the dunes is fraught with danger. Or pointy grass. Same difference.
The proverbial Sand Lake. Last weekend, this is the spot you couldn't get near without a Baja Buggy.
Russ and Emma tackle the dune tops.
Huh? I thought we were headed for coffee?
Do you seriously think this is a trail?
Ahhh ... give me a sandy dune anyday.
Of course, Emma Brown Sock gets down the dune long before everybody else. After all, the beach awaits!
Today's Flotsam. I thought it was a doughnut, too.
Thoughtful Scots built this Wall of Broom to remind us who really conquered this land. All hail the Scottish Engineer!
