Sisters Point revisited. We couldn't get onto the beaches last time due to high tides. Today is low tide. The beaches are still difficult to approach.
The beach may finally have given up the burial ground from Frankport - the mini gold mining town - circa 1850 - built at the Sisters Rocks. This may very well be Frank.
Emma is forced to circle back to round up Wendy.
Our linger time here is only about 30 minutes, before the returning tide takes away our retreat route around the headland.
Lots of scrambling around and over rocks.
Spot the VW bus - on it's yearly migration south to the warmer Cali climes.
Perhaps the best place in the world to take that conference call.
The climb out of Sisters.
It is a very long conference call.
The lake that is the parking lot.
The sun is desperately trying to penetrate the fog layer at Ophir Beach.
The flying "V". The birds are headed to Cali too.
The sun is determined - if it can't break out at the upper cloud deck - well gosh darn it's going to radiate right through it!
Wendy and Emma can both do that levitation thing. This is their new game, a cross between armwrestling and volleyball.
The game comes to an end with this discovery.
That's the Sister's Rocks we were just clamboring over.
High beach action.
Can someone stop this vortex thingie - I'm getting dizzy. Didn't we leave these behind in Sedona last year?
The Flotsam of the Day.
Finally! A World-Famous Sunset. From our deck.
V2 - the improbable sunset from our deck. Yes it is.
