Day 41 - Calistoga to Port Orford

Our last coffee at Yo El Rey - the only place for the java hit in Calistoga.

Our little home for the past 5 nights - The Sunburst Calistoga. Soaking up a last few rays before turning for the coast. The rains await.

After all - it looks like Riff Raff and Magenta's front yard.

Yup - this confuses and confangles just about everyone.

The World-Famous Drive Around Tree. You can actually drive a car all the way around this tree. Oregonians are easily amused.

It's pretty easy to see how they lost the whole coast.

Once again Russ fiddles around with something he shouldn't - the staff are dismayed.

The new leader in cheapest motels.

Leon's new point-defence weapon ceaselessly scans the the skies for superheroes. As you can see, he has one shoot-down to his credit so far.

Everywhere you look, there's a fine car.

This here's the business opportunity of a lifetime.

Every year, we celebrate our return to the Pacific. This year, we've only been away six days, but the celebration in on.

Ah ha - spotted - but always shadowy. This time we have the real thing for sure. Sasquatches can't resisit a salmon dinner.

The REAL California Trees of Mystery - not to be confused with those freeloading Oregon Trees of Doom.

Meanwhile over at the Chase bank suddenly their bank machine erupts violently - spraying silver and gold coins all over Gold Beach. A new rush to the coast ensues - what's old is new again - everyone will soon forget about weed and wine..
