Sunrise over our last day in port. It's hard to believe a whole month has passed.
The day has slightly more promise than the 100% rain forecast.
However it is a day of extreme winds!
Another wild weather day - huge waves crash over the breakwater at the port. All boats are huddled ashore.
The lush wet west coast rainforest.
Emma is ready for another run around the Port Orford Head. Sort of. It's even more windy today.
Crazy dramatic light over the Port Orford Heads.
Every time I look down at the old Coast Guard cove, I have to wonder if it was harder being the rescued or the rescuer?
The trees provide excellent shelter from the gale up here. Wouldn't want to be down there.
We head for the car when we see the next squall bearing down on us. They are intense - I estimate the rainfall at about 21mm per hour.
Timeless - marking time - and storms.
Contender in the most evil sunset contest.
