Day 7 - Newport rain day

This morning,we found neighbor dune had again landed a beach-head in our driveway overnight. Sweet Homes, our host vacation rental property manager (they are awesome), decided to get tough with neighbor dune, and called in the mechanized infantry. Seriously. Prepare to repel boarders!

Meanwhile in Newport, a resident gull strikes out to officially greet the hovering alien pod ships.

We beat it out of the dune battlefield to the total peace and quiet of Local Ocean's upstairs dining room in Newport. We believe Local Ocean has the best anti-alien-mind-control shielding on the coast.

Upon return to battlefield dune, we find additional light cavalry reinforcements have been called up. The battle has spread to all sides of the house. The driveway is out there.

One dump truck is not enough today - luckily a stelathy trailer makes an appearance. Truck and trailer have made several trips. We have no idea where they take the sand.

Digger vs Dune. It's a new reality series that would Beat Bobby Flay hands down.
