Roadtrip 2019 Fall: Vancouver - Richland - Twin Falls - Provo - Kanab - Yucca Valley - Paso Robles - Sacramento - Brookings - Yachats - Cannon Beach - Vancouver

Day 46 - Sacramento River Delta - Locke Historical District

It used to be Husick's Hardware.  Then Huskick's Taphouse.  Now, BBQ Proper has got it right.

Ella's not at all thrilled by local brew and BBQ.

Tuesday nights are "choose a persona" themed.

Russ looks especially rested and happy – now full of beer and BBQ. Ella just wants to get on with things.

Could not resist grabbing a pic of this wonderful colour palette.

This side alley in Locke features a bath tub as lily pond. Very creative gardening.

The Locke Historical District was a Chinese town.  Today, it is a semi-ghost, with local residents.  Many of the original buildings are now museums.

This one looks like it's going to give way at any moment.

Ain't no right angles in Locke.

Wop on.

Locking up tight – in Locke. We're not sure why.

Some of the most interesting stuff isn't on official display.

The ol' gamblin' hall.

A lovely upper deck, with ice cream below. What more is needed?

The gamblin' wicket.

Beautiful old instrument.

Bath tubs between buildings seems to be a bit of a theme here. Maybe explains the elaborate doors.

The Original Mossy Bike.  Can't figure out why this idea never caught fire.

We think this resident has been to the Yucca Valley.

Mmmm – Hinese cuisine.
