Day 6 - Foraging Manzanita, Nehalem and Wheeler

Wendy carefully interrogates the owner of the local fish 'n chip trailer to see if they cook anything other than cod.  They don't.  Ella hates cod.

A grand tradition is extended in front of Ol' Ain's General Store.

This is about the only hockey you're going to encounter anywhere along the Oregon Coast.

This charming official ambassador welcomes all, and declares the town of Wheeler to be officially open.

An expedition to the end of the wharf is always necessary.

Shall we just say, they are indeed extremely hopeful.

And yes, the Rules and Regulations are expanding.  There is now a 4-week college-level course that must be passed before setting foot on the beach.

The coast is sporting signs of Spring – the camellias have even started to fall.
