Day 42 - Bellingham to Vancouver

You'd never know we were away - it all ends where it started.

American classic.

Love the tiny town of Edison - not just because it's my Dad's namesake!!

We take a countryside drive to LaConnor as we await the results of our attempt #3 to get a timely danged covid test.

Woohoo - finally a covid test actually works - and we triumphantly return to Canada with 2 negative results. Keeping in mind that even if we were at home and desperately sick - we wouldn't have been allowed to get a test!! We are relieved - and have to stop off at Crescent Beach for coffee and one last ocean view before the great unpacking. Oh, and of course a stop at Fieldstones for some wonderful "take home" baked goods.

The light is low and we're almost home - take this turn and I'd be off to the Greyhaven Birdhouse! Not tonight - but will see all my feathered ones soon!!
