Day 23 - Cottonwood and Clarkdale

Black Bear actual patiently stands in place every day - holding his sign to beckon in the hunry travellers. He's soooooooo dedicated.

The old and the new in Cottonwood. The whole town is turning into a wine tasting centre. Yes - this is Arizona. No the wine is not all that good. Someone thinks this is a good idea.

The best room in the house at Cottonwood Hotel.

This courtyard used to be a stables with rooms above. It's now a motel.

The World Famous Epicenter of Gun Rights.

Was church - now brew pub. The local beer is better than the wine.

Cottonwood Classic.

This is Violetta's Cafe, which used to be in Old Cottonwood, now in downtown Clarkdale.

Unfortunately, Clarkdale is mostly dead - there are a few bars open. That's about it.
