Day 25 - Cibola Pass
A few clouds arrive in town - breaking up the crystal blue skies.
Even pink jeeps have to wai tin traffic jams from time to time.
The Jordan Trailhead parking lot is perfectly manicured. The approach road, not so much - it is littered with the forlorn carcasses of many Toyota Priuses and Volvo XCs.
The approach to Cibola Pass is guarded by these ferocious LandWorms who like to snatch unsuspecting prey off the trail. They especially like the Pink Jeeps - they are nice and crunchy on the outside and sooo juicy on the inside.
Agave of the day.
It is a secret. The sign says so.

The anti-FLIR spray (from Hike House) really works!! This is the second straight day the Black Helicopters have flown right over us and not seen us. This must be driving them crazy!

First the sky to the west is cranked up - now the eastern side is also becoming angry.

And the day ends in a very angry style - cold, rain and hail. We finished our hike just as it broke.
