Day 40 - Joshua Tree Nat Park

Joshua Trees.

And Rocks.

Sometimes Joshua Trees take on the most curious positions.

Other times they just like to perform on almost surreal stage.

Flowers still in bloom.

This is how Joshua Trees start.

Joshua Trees and Rocks. That's what goes on here.

This Joshua Tree serves as guardian for the puppy rock.

Late light at Quail Springs Picnic site.

A bit later - the clouds put on a sunset show.

Late afternoon drive back to the ranch - the light is calm.

Only to erupt again with intense cloud colour. Our favourite flock performs their last light choreography once again.
