I will start this day with an apology. There are a lot of photos - but I think of it as 2 separate "shoot entities". It's all because our Joshua Tree digs have such a phenomenal seting and such ecclectic and crazy outdoor decor - so typical of everything that is "Yucca valley". I just had to explore how it all came together.
Metal flower sculpture with the requisite J Tree trailers in the distance.
Art in every corner - yes this is outdoors.
Where everything comes together.
Even little owls pop up in unexpected corners.
More requisite trailers - this one is the "on site van". No guests don't stay in it!
Not a single spot is untouched.
Buddah's bad hair day.
Next location - Pioneertown - where we move on to more crazy stuff.
Not an artichoke.
Even in good ol' Pioneertown, Wild West: The Rules and Regulations.
Honkytonk.
The Barbershop, found as always, in the Saloon.
It's a bath house tree house.
All liveried up.
Chooks and turks - all living together.
A Grand Tradition Revived: Foto Pilic. I count 5.
My favourite classroom. It is getting a little rusty, but it's still here.
Now here's a great spot for the evening firepit.
The morning coffee setup.
A remnant of the ol' Pioneertown Stargate Project, designed to bring in extraterrestrials tourists. It is not clear if the system ever worked.
hmmm - votexes just have to be here too......
It's my ranch - I just bought it.
The porch comes with it - my new command post.
It is thought Hesiod got the idea for The Hydra on a visit to Pioneertown in 1947.
Spot the real vs the fictional.
Who mimics who?
Mane (yup: Mane) Street.
All set for Christmas.
