Day 50 - Oat Hill Mine Trail

The Napa Valley Wildfire Lab is thinly disguised (as always) as some kind of agricultural station, in this case, a vineyard. The total giveaway is the enormous electrical power installation providing power for... what exactly? Wine?

Today's trail - was yesterday's wagon road to the mine.

This is also the Napa Valley. Calistoga residences at the foot of the hill.

These old oaks are so incredible for their twisty shapes.

This is how close the wildfires of a few years back came to the town of Calistoga. Clean up is still ongoing.
