Day 7 - Snow Day! Foraging Bend

This is our backyard for the next 10 days. 4 inches of snow overnight! The last hurrah of winter (we hope!)

Ain't nuthin' like an unexpected game of diskdog in the snow.

The chickadees are happy to have this little hideaway today.

Snow covers every branch on trees just outside our door.

We momentarily consider using the fire table for our morning coffee ritual. Hmmmmmmmm - nope.

We've seen this in Bend before: winter wonderland in the morning, warm spring day in the afternoon. Snow all gone. Not even slush.

These river dike trails are right off our backyard.

A little family emerges for an afternoon stroll and maybe swim.
