Day 16 - Bend to Boise

Ella has mastered the fine technique of the roadtrip pit stop.

Yet another fine roadtrip tradition: documenting the cheapest advertised motel room rate. I wonder if this entry is going to hold up.

This town has had it with the Black Helicopters and is mounting their own air defence system.

But what if you have a King?

Just a small bump in the road.

The first time we ever saw triple trailer trucks was in Australia back in the 80's. It's still been fairly rare in North America - but we've seen quite a number on this trip. Possibly driven by pandemic and supply chain issues??

Parma is a tiny old town - but sports the requisite contemporary cappucino bar.

The US Navy tried again on the Boise River - these submarine pens were ultimately only used to house their trained Orca fleet.

Crave in Boise is the choice for our dinner stop tonight. No disappointment here - they served up exemplary food.
