Day 28 - Lay Day in Grand Junction, Old Kiln Trail

The latest addition to the wildflower collection.

We're close to base - that's Grand Junction down there.

From this direction the view is west towards Fruita and Loma. This is a view we do not have from our own grand deck.

More flowers - yeah, I don't usually make this many floral pics - however - the array is so incredible. These ones are almost alien in nature.

Finally we find the trail's namesake - after walking well past it - and then accidentally discovering it on the return journey.

All that's left of the Old Kilns - and it's devilishly hard to find on BLM trails.
