Day 6 - Reno to Mammoth Lakes

Morning coffee in a Reno Park.

Geese go by.

Reno departure. There was only so much we could do about the bug splats.

Bowers Mansion - just south of Reno.

Downtown Carson City. Of course they have a classic old casino.

It's over a year to the election - but some are already anticipating.

We have a new found exceptional coffee spot. Old World Coffee Lab in Carson City. Dog friendly patio included!

Repurposed tin ceiling tiles make up the wall of the patio at Old World.

This saloon used to be the biggest building in Carson City - or for that matter, the entire Wild West.

The unforgettable Fox Hotel. And brew pub. Very reminiscent of country hotels in Oz.

Historic Genoa.

Yup - we're in Topaz NV.

Over the California line - and through the agricultural inspection station (we passed) - we reach the historic town of Bridgeport.

Mono Lake comes into view.

No time to stop at Mono - it's been a short drive today - but lots of backroads and coffee shops visited! On to our evening in Mammoth.
