The Team at the head of Fay Canyon.
The last flower of this year.
The Orange Helicopters are looking after us today. No sign of Blues or Blacks.
Creeks are all dry today. Good thing.
The section of gnarly trees is still gnarly.
Textures abound all throughout the canyon at this time of year.
My continuing quest to capture the floating nature of leaves that remain on the nearly bare trees.
For good measure - a few more textures to explore.
Textures smextures - let's get on with the red rock climbing.
Emperor with a big hat.
The Inked Woman in the Painted Canyon.
Red leaves are actually quite rare in these parts.
Dog on the run.
Waasay up there, above and to the right of the arch, are a few people. How did they get there?
See?
These are the people we saw above in the parking lot. We asked how they got up there and they told us. It's a bit of a scramble, but not crazy dangerous - so now we might be able to find the route - about 10 minutes down the main trail, there is a casual unmarked trail on the right that leads to a way to get on the ledges.
