Day 32 - Mund's Wagon Trail

The Black Helicopters are very anxious today - they were buzzing overhead all day with their camera jammers on full blast. The game is afoot.

We head out on Mund's - it starts with a rounding of this amphitheatre. A small group of Aussies and Kiwis were enjoying lamb chops and beer at the other edge.

Wendy delivers on the holiday snaps, while Russ admires probably the only Aussie Footy in Sedona. It's next to the cooler.

This agave family has invited a prickly pear along for their daily outing.

The team enters the trail proper.

These rocks said they were "lich'en it".

Mund's is completely ringed by mountains. This part of the trail crosses Schnebly Road, a 4WD track to Flagstaff that we once drove in our 4Runner.

After crossing the Schneb, we are in the canyon.

This stealth cloud is actually a vehicle designed by - none other than - those sneaky folks at Wildfire. Equipped with a precision snout drill there was great hope that the long held secrets of the vortexes will be revealed - and used for clandestine operations - by piercing sections of all the local monuments in Sedona. But now Wildfire - you are outed!

Every trip we must have a "hand of Russ" shot. Russ is very powerful.

On that ridge, far in the distance, there is a slash on the hillside, which is the final climbout of the Schneb on the way to Flagstaff.

The Pinks in this area hunt in daylight. One must be wary.

On the coffee patio at dusk: even the Marvel Comics writers would get fired for dreaming this up: There is a tiny speck in this picture slightly above centre. We watched it maneuver back and forth for several minutes, before it seemed to make a controlled landing somewhere in the neighborhood of the Jolly Green Tank in north Sedona. If it really is a tank. This must be what the Black Helicopters didn't want us to see. It appears the Wildfire Lab is working on something new. See the inset below for a close look.

This is the best rendering we have of that speck in the preceding picture. What is this?? Could the Wildfire Lab be recovering more alien technology? Is the Jolly Green Tank really just a tank? What's Disney's role in all of this? No wonder the Black Helicopters were so irritated today.

The vortexes are very angry - too much Wildfire activity really riles them up. The lower intense whirling cyclonic like cloud to the lower right is directly over Boynton Canyon - a known vortex hot spot. Never anger a vortex.
