Day 30 - Richland, Halfway, Snake River, Hell's Canyon

Downtown Baker City - where the historical contrasts with the modern way to move about in the backcountry.

Downtown Richland has it's own classic small town feel - and of course a requisite motel.

Cloudbursts remain the order of the day.

The colour was just too outstanding to pass it by.

The mighty Snake River is very calm off the Hell's Canyon Camp.

Russ makes his way to the river float on the Snake.

Ella's not so sure about the floating dock. Best to stay low to the ground.

All is calm - but the clouds are still all riled up today.
