Day 32 - Oregon Trail Interpretive Center

The storm clouds just won't give it up here in our Baker Valley.

Whatever it is it seems angry.

Ella wants to be part of the staged activity panel behind her.

The Team assesses the wisdom of going into the obvious danger of a closed Government Site. The Oregon Trail Interpretive Center seems to be closed for "renovations". Uh-huh.

We dodge the thunderstorms and hail.

Over the crest of the closed road, we find yet another Wildfire Lab site, disguised as usual, as an "Agricultural Research Center".

We're taking a chance and walking the road between the storms. Just hoping we make it out and back befoe another one decides to drop it's load!

The suspiciously closed "interpretive centre".

The Wildfire Lab launches its last-ditch technical deterrent for persistent tourists: rainbows and kittens. We didn't see any actual kittens, but theoretically, they are there.

Raindows, dark storms, and a proto stay puff marshmallow man, all habitating together.
