Day 35 - Baker City

Main St. Baker City

Bikes go by ...... cheered on by the rhino and the giraffe.

For some reason, African wildlife has taken over Baker City. Could be the beer.

Spring is now in full swing in Baker City.

2 hour parking in front of the local bookseller.

Yup. African wildlife.

King Kong impression.

More African wildlife.

A few more peeks at the schoolhouse interiors. This is an open vault ceiling over the main living room and fireplace. From the outside it looks like - well - a schoolhouse.

The second storey was added on after the fire in 1996.

Upstairs there is a "girls' room and "boys" room. Both feature multiple sleeping spaces. Can you guess which one this is?
