Day 41 - Haines to Richland

At the roadside, the World-Famous Oregon Elephant's Graveyard.

This town's name is Tollgate. Really. Winter is not even over here yet.

The descent into the Columbia Valley. And smoke from the Alberta wildfires.

I'm really cute - so I get away with parking wherever I want.

These old trucks love their gravel patch. Every Saturday they're allowed to rev up and race about.

Local kids have adorned their schoolhouse with a river theme.

Local landmarks included.

The Columbia floods Richland's Riverfront Park.

Canada Geese keep a close eye on their millions of chicks.
