Day 5 - Park City to Apple Valley

Another interstate day is ahead of us. We depart Park City only after stocking up for the week ahead in Apple Valley at the incredible Whole Foods here. The cooler is full! We also discovered that our favourite roasters are not dead. Their product was available at Whole Foods. Park City Roasters no longer have a store front - just concentrating on the roasting. Whew!!

Always disconcerting when the transport trucks are passing the oversize loads.

Even more worrying - is when the oversize load decides to pass the transport trucks - and incidently - also whips by that camping combo currently seen between the two.

The modern roadside respite when you really need a break from the interstate craziness.

We hustle by the historic site of Cove Fort on the way back out to I15. No time to make a stop here today - too many more miles to go.

And there they are. The Black Helicopters have taken notice of us again. We've been expecting them ever since we broke the Waterless Fish story on day 2.

Ever since the Green Party convinced everyone that global warming is going to turn inland North America into a giant, warm inland sea - these lighthouses have been going up. And beachfront resorts are coming soon.

Approacing our final turn in for the day. We've made it to big town - Apple Valley UT. We'll be turning left at the Chevron just ahead - which is the only commercial business in town.
