Day 9 - Sheep Bridge

Sheep Bridge Road is a shortcut across the Hurricane Mesa. Sort of.

So this is where our friends in the mega bus have landed. Folks are arrriving early to prepare for a huge annual moutain bike race slated for the coming weekend. There are camp vehicles and tents of every persuasion scattered about the land. However - this one has to be the winner - we know they sport a full blown heat exchanger!

I'm trying really hard to be an eruptingvolcano. It's going to be my Halloween costume this year.

Scouting the environs at the Gem Trailhead. We may be back to do this one before we have to leave the area.

Just can't lose those ever threatening darkish clouds.
