Day 17 - Tlaquepaque

Dia de los Muertos is this Friday, and the decorations are going up in Patio Azul.

It takes a lot of people hours to deck out all of Tlaquepaque for the occasion.

The winds pop up and all of a sudden Russ is joined by a wayward vine while we finish up our lunch at Rene. Mmmmm - vine want lunch too.

Ella is not amused by wayward vines. However she did score a chef made special doggie treat that made her very happy.

Patio Azul is the most colorful.

Some lovely iron work supports a tangle of vines with a textured stucco providing just the right backdrop.

There are little shrines and idols all over Tlaquepaque.
