Once again, the trail nexus off Morgan Road.
Traffic jam on the red rocks.
This time, we head out along Broken Arrow.
Pretty much immediately, the Black Helicopters, camera jammers on full. They seem very, very nervous along the Broken Arrow Canyon.
Russ in full concentration to navigate a steep scree section.
In the shadow of the Hogs, Wendy double-checks navigation.
Agave burst.
Those pesky vortexes rear their power once again.
Late afternoon sun spot.
Russ has had his fill of the vortex menace and simply walks away.
Sunset comes early in the canyon. It's the usual race with dusk to the parking lot.
A lacey lichen pattern contrasts with the red rock.
This expanse of slickrock is usually thick with Jeeps and rummabums. Dunno where they are. could be they were chased out by aggressive Pinks.
Moonrise Broken Arrow.
A better picture than yesterday: Moonrise, Black Helicopters.
Ahh - the sunset reappearance of the pink ones. They're in a hurry to make the sunset viewing spot - so the driver is making sure to bounce these folks around quite heartily. The lady in the pnk hat is actually screaming with terror. We think she bought all her pink livery at the jeep shop right before the tour. We also think she may be taking it all back when she returns. If she returns ........
Ella finds the entire spectacle quite amusing.
Down the slickrock, the Pinks lie in wait.
Last rays in the canyon.
