Day 45 - Snow Canyon: Jenny's Canyon

The weather is iffy - we decide to do a drive through of the Snow Canyon State Park. It is amazing.

The run-in to Jenny's Canyon.

The Four Canyon Gate Guardians: The Hutt, The Mouse, The Turkey and The Possum. Don't mess with the Guardian Four.

Ella doesn't mess around and creates another quite masterful piece. She has sensed an unusual species of hybrid alien/suessian beings taking residence in Jenny's Canyon walls - and expresses her instincts in a Pollock like automatic drip painting.

More communications to interpret. We need our Star Gate team to priorize these tasks in a much more serious way. They may be Earth's last hope.

And yes, there is a wedding.

Little ones in Jenny's Canyon. The alien/suessian hybrids know they are innocent and harmless. They always leave them alone to wander and paint plein air when they feel like it.

The guard tree at Jenny's entrance.

The entrance to Jenny's.

More built in protective rock forms. No one messes with Jenny's.

Canyon wall features. Jenny's is a short slot canyon - but a beauty for sure.

Waay down the slot, the obligatory selfies.

From the slot looking back to the entrance. Hope Jenny doesn't close the doors.

The only way out.

Up is not an option.

Russ provides a little visual perspective. In his resplendent yellow - definitely not blending in today.

View from the side trail short climb from Jenny's entrance.

An added benefit is a climb up to a viewpoint above Jenny's.

A resounding farewell howl as we depart Jenny's.

The landscape here boasts these incredible frond like plants. Unusual in our experience in these southern desert areas.
