The steep path down to the beach.
Lone beachwalker.
Dog considers which way to run like a maniac and bark like a crazy woman on the phone..
Birds go by.
Gull formation flying. Needs work.
As always, a horde of photographers seeking that deathless waterfall picture, cluster at the waterfall.
And the deathless rock picture has been captured. Maybe.
The deathless waterfall. Not the picture, the waterfall.
The water is flowing faster today over this fall than we've ever seen before. Must be all of those Pacific Northwest atmospheric rivers we've heard about over the past few weeks.
The deathless rocks.
The Team, having chased away all the photographers with merciless barking, has the waterfall all to themselves.
Mr. Grump Rock carefully guards his personal sheltering hole in the cliffside.
Photoshoot #1 for today: The Instructions to The Clients.
This is a very cool rock shelf that you can access like an inviting ramp right from the sand level. Meanwhile the sea laps at the edges below as the tide recedes.
The Brainform Gooseneck Barnacles are reaching the threshold of sentience. Much like the sentient clams down the beach, it has been a long journey. They are looking forward to Monday Night Football.
Meanwhile, just below the waterline, the anenomes are completely content with their non-sentient existence. Sentience seems like a lot of trouble.
Photoshoot #2 for today. The bride is having trouble getting her train over the beach cobbles. The shoes don't help.
Dogs don't worry about beach wedding photos.
Neither do rocks.
The afternoon has yielded some very stormy looking weather. But we only once were sprayed by some wind driven showers. It lasted just seconds. Otherwise - it's just a fabulous afternoon on the beach featuring incredible light.
Beach houses line up to soak in a few rays.
Two ways to shelter.
Winged ones leave their impressions in the sand.
The Find of The Day #1. It appears we have found casualties from that UFO crash that was reported last night. On the left appears to be an alien beetle-like entity, now deceased. On the right, a strange bipedal creature with two giant eyes, also deceased. Could this be an advance scouting team from a distant planet? We are awating the arrival of the exoscience team dispatched from Roswell NM last night to confirm our find. Where are the Black Helicopters?
The Find of the Day #2. We have no idea. It is large, organic and filled with some kind of protoplasm. It might be the sort of pod that babies get hatched from as depicted in the mind-blowing 1999 documentary, "The Matrix". When offered, take the blue pill. You won't regret it. You can believe whatever you want to believe.
