Roadtrip 2024 Spring: Seaside - Yachats - Tumalo - Walla Walla

Day 11 - Yachats Trail 804

Our pet turkey vulture flies past.

The second to last picnic table at the end of the universe.

It's for rent. Check out the wonky floor first.

Thor's Powder Room takes a flush.

This Minuteman silo is the last of its type along this stretch of coast. We don't think it is operational. Ella didn't howl, and we have trained her to howl in the presence of ICBMs.

The World-Famous Picnic Table at the End of the Universe. Funny there aren't Instagrammers lined up for selfies like normal.

The view back to Yachats.

Sand does landscape.

A tradition renewed: The Flotsam of the Day.

Creatures emerge from the combination of sandscape, blue sailor, stone, shell and turqoise yarn. All left behind by the last falling tide.

The now white sailors take abstract form.

This used to be a natural bridge. Oh well.

Wendy and Ella prepare for The Hole.
