Roadtrip 2024 Spring: Seaside - Yachats - Tumalo - Walla Walla

Day 19 - Neptune Beach

The morning stretch next to the morning coffee.

Then, the morning siesta in the flower patch by the sea.

The Renewed Topographics: Neptune Beach Parking Lot 2024

Darren the long tongued fish steams by.

Meanwhile, Lucy the gull wades and keeps watch over her beach.

Neptune features slot coves and finger reefs, only accessible at very low tide.

And tidepools.

Not much happening in this ephemeral tidepool - but the rock is encrsted with barnacles on top - and loaded with anenomies at the lower reaches.

I am the Great and Mighty Gronk of Neptune.

A starfish has been left behind in the outgoing tide. Tide is currently coming back in - so maybe a chance to catch the outgoing waves.

The ocean demonstrates that she can indeed do vortex too.

Ahhhh - beach makes me sooooo happy.

Fly past.
