Our attempt to visit Three Creek Lake is thwarted. It's May 4 - but obviously we're too early in the season.
Zen like forest features along the Whychus Overlook trail. There is a highly symbolic - grass crafted marking on the rock to the left in the picture. We don't know who left it or why - but it does appear to be a face shaped circle with horns. hmmmmmm.
It's about 3C and the wind is howling. But indeed - shorts are in order.
According to the interpretive signs, we should have a boundless vista of the Three Sisters, the Two Brothers and other huge volcanoes from this spot. All we got was this little cinder cone, and an approaching snowstorm. Everything else is in the overcast.
