Day 00 - Nanaimo preamble

The Fall Trip Preamble Starts. In Nanaimo. Wendy is playing hockey. Ella and Russ enjoy morning coffee at the beach.

The morning walk takes us into Neck Point Park, which has remnants of a massive estate.

Down the beach at Piper's Lagoon, it seems none of Nanaimo's children go to school. No, this is not a school outing. Just kids and Moms.

The Giant Snare Tree awaits its prey.
