Day 50 - Lay day in Yucca Valley

Our Yucca Valley perch for the next 8 days. Most importantly - the incredibly wonderful and very warming - gas firepit.

Back at the digs after the Thanksgiving week supply shop at nearby Vons. We nabbed a pumpkin pie before the hoards could scoop them all up before Thanksgiving. It is not a Vons in store bakery pie. Their pies were covered in whip cream. Who does that with Thanksgiving still days away? Luckily there was another offering from a Cali pie maker called Jessica's. It is delicious and we can add our own whip as needed!
