Day 67 - Newport North Jetty Beach

And a drop ran through it.

Our little friends in the sky are keeping watch today. No sign of the Black Ones.

We choose Yaquina Beach for our afternoon walk. It's not raining here!

When it's not raining you can always make up your own.

The local Drillin' Clams are drillin' away.

Wendy climbs the dune.

A local Drillin' Clam colony. Last year, they tried to open a coffee shop. That didn't work so well, but their next venture is gonna be great.

A muscle shell fits perfectly into sculpted sand.

The sky spat showers all afternoon, but the sun wants a say, too.

Sand does Christmas tree. It knows the season is upon us.

This piece of kelp decided to adorn itself - and look particularly beautiful today.

Then there's just the flotsam of the day. Nice colour though!
