Day 69 - Arcadia Beach

The run-in to the beach. All of the little streams are high.

Hug Point is closed due to bad erosion, so everybody has come down to Arcadia on a nice warm afternoon after a very wet spell.

Soft coral and anemones hide out on the lee side of the sea stacks.

The limpet garden.

Wendy confronts the sneaker wave.

A tiny sand sculpture tucks into a rock crevice. Water is still running everywhere.

Celebrating some sunshine.

Yet another memorial.

The trees on the cliffs have taken an extra beating this fall.

Anemones find homes in every space between the barnacles. Sometimes living conditions are a bit crowded.

Spirit to the Sky

Some of the craziest are actually going into the Pacific.

All is calm.

Afternoon at Arcadia Beach.

Turbulence. The Captain has lit the seat belts sign and asks everyone to return to their seats and extinguish their cigarettes.

Arcadia Beach.
