Roadtrip 2025 Spring: Richland - Bend - Waldport - Pacific City - Seaside

Day 12 - Bend to Waldport

This is fast becoming my "must stop here" corner. The ever changing sign is just too good.

We're the only takers outside today at Sister's Coffee - we snagged the lone table in the sun.

Now that RFK is at the controls, the chemtrail onslaught is redoubled. The mind-control agent has been doubled in suggestive power. Wait a minute... I need to drink a gallon of gasoline to prevent smallpox.

The Sno Cap retains it's spot of distinction. But it was not open today.

Just a wee sluggish today.

I have no idea.

We find a covered bridge.

This is the Short Bridge. Wonder where the Long Bridge is?

Amazingly sturdy architecture - the days where everything was "over engineered". Not so much any more.

We cross a covered bridge.

The Oregon green begins to show her Spring presence. Must be in coastal territory.

Remnant Japonicas at a roadside rest spot.

Orchard.

Another orchard.

We pay a visit to Brownsville, the actual town that is featured in that amazing documentary about growing up in small-town America, "Stand By Me".

We haven't seen River Phoenix. I guess he saw us first.

More dogs than folks.

Even in the most remote little towns - the Wildfire presence is palpable.

Flauntin' The Law.
