This is a very tricky trail for Russ. Muddy, boggy, rooty, steppy. I think the most challenging terrain he's done since the shingles episode. All accomplished - slow but sure. Excellent!

These tiny orange shoots are probably another Advanced Plant-Based Electronic Surveillance Project, operated by The Wildfire Lab. Where are the Black Helicopters?

Fallen debris all along the path. It's an out of the way - not likely heavily touristed path. So also not much trail maintenance performed..

The Skunk Cabbage Garden is really gorgeous. It helps for sure that the light is perfect at this moment.

The skunkies are tight along - and even in the path.
