Day 23 - Secret Beach

Secret Beach. Not very many people know about this place.

A layer of mist settles over the Secret.

It is a vast expanse, and we are almost the only people here.

Dogs go crazy.

We are small in the rocky outcroppings.

The tidepools here are a little barren right now.

Today the sentient foam is happy to just form a natural Secret abstract.

Secrets Rock.

Everything around here is starting to fall into the sea.

Waves crash over the barrier reef as the tide turns.

These little finger reefs will be under water in about 30 minutes.

Secret Beach throws out the craziest rock forms.

Fracture Rock

On close inspection, we discover this rock has eyes. We have marked the spot on our GPS, and will make a full report to MUFON.

The World Famous Funderbirds Pelican Aerial Demonstration Team shows off its impressive Finger-Four.

Natural hourglass.

This is believed to be the Back-of-the-Sandbox engineering drawing that eventually became the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva Switzerland. The Sentient Clams want everyone to know they thought of it first.

The Secret Beach Grumpfish is watching you.

We spotted this fascinating form from well down the beach. It had the appearance of something that had been modified - embelished somehow. Even as we moved closer - it appeared that some of the branches had been deliberately interwoven. On close inspection - not at all. A totally natural root stucture from a fallen tree.

Somehow - this root ball spent time in the water and is encrusted with barnacles. Now it's thrown back to the beach where we can marvel at it's qualities!
