Rain comes and goes here all the time, even when it is sunny, like right now.

The spine of Cape Lookout is narrow in spots, with very steep sides.
Once again, we find more spots where the US Navy has anchored Oregon to the rest of North America to keep it from falling into the sea along with California. It makes no sense to us as Oregon has no Naval Bases. And there seems to be no anchors in California.
More trilliums along this trail too.
In fact, despite this being late season for them - there are still many very happy healthy specimens
Those pesky ferns hiijack yet another twisty tree.

Giant Parasitic Ferns are quietly growing sentient in this glen. They have already reached a state of "where am I?". We expect them to get to the "Take me to your leader" state in a few years.

Now the lilies are plannng to attack the giant trees from the bottom up.
