Day 31 - Schooner's and Cape Meares

Yeah - we are so boring! it's the oysters rockoyaki and calamari salad - yet again. Russ adds just the right amount of lemony seasoning.

The Schooner has never had the door to its bar open before.

The giant woodpile needed to make all those pizzas and oysters rocko.

Meanwhile up the beach at Cape Mears they are once again trying to convince us this equipment is used for seismology. Uh huh.

The Original Inspiration for Monty Python's Three-Headed Giant. Oh wait.

The folks of Cape Meares Beach have a jolly roger sense of humour.

We can only guess - this is all that's left after perhaps a burn down. The locals appear to have co opted it as an outdoor community fireplace - and maybe a gathering spot. It has been recently used!

It's called a Guppy and it really does look like one. How does this thing fly?
