Day 26 - Yachats to Pacific City

The Sentient Seafoam started communicating with us on our bedroom scrabble board. We are able to make out "Sentient", "Seafoam" and "Licensedto", proving the Sentient Seafoam has learned something of English. We don't really understand the meaning of "Licensedto". Are they licensing us? Are they requesting a license from us? As to the other mysterious words, we can only surmise they are Seafoam words that have no direct translation into English. We need the services of a maritime linguist to find out.

One last visit to Zurita for this trip.

Simoné has now joined us in all 3 possible eating areas at Zurita.

A coast classic. The sidewalk seafood counter.

The spot where half the highway disappeared since we were last here in December. Erosion and landslides appear to be increasing at a crazy clip. Teams are scurrying to fix things before the busy summer season heats up.
