Day 32 - Whalen Island

The Renewed Topographics - Whalen Island 2026

The Team on the run-in to the beach.

The Big Snag at the edge of Sand Lake. The tide is out right now, but when it comes in, the entire lagoon floods.

The local name for this snag is Signal Snag.

The local dog snake comes out to say hello. She is very docile and friendly.

For whatever reason, when I saw the form of this snag - all I could think of was the enormous vehicle our would be heroes from the movie Brazil were drivng around in.

Yeah it's just Russ. Who knows?

Wuddaya waitin' for?

Hoping for a transplant to Bend.

Moss and broom - lots of it - all sleeping together.

I'm caught up to my boy - but I need to keep track of you too.

Russ thinks Picasso bull - I was thinking more rooster.

Just simple grass can be so elegant.
