Day 37 - Cape Meares and Happy Camp

The long, long pigout table at the Schooner. We are ready.

The long, long pigout.

The Schooner sports a new piece of art.

First, the fries.

The Original Inspiration for THX138 in the 1973 documentary, "American Graffiti".

The USCG have finally removed the lamp from the Cape Meares Light. I hope they reconsider. It is a gem.

I am your father, Luke... <random heavy breathing>

The local Doomsday Cult is hard at work with their mysterious warnings.

Are there separate consequences for this action? What about the others? Does this figure have any relationship to the sand patterns of Sheltic Shuttle Runs, as documented on Day 35? Where are the Black Helicopters?

Beyond the edge and across the cove lies Short Beach from Day 30.

I pay no attention to the Doomday Cult. This is my turf.

The Team reaches Happy Camp, the resort that Lewis and Clark founded after their crew became tired of Dismal Nitch.

It turns out that Happy Camp was previously used by those Pesky Pirates from Penzance. They left a replica of their pesky ship as an adventure playground for children, complete with cannons.

The appearance of serenity at Happy Camp.

It could be a comfy chair with a great view. For professional climbers only.

The skeleton stares down the Jolly Roger. Where is the Time Bandit? Fireworks are in order.

Cape Kiwanda in her sunset splendor.
