Day 2 - Yakima to Clarkston

Mushroom farm right outside our door at the Oxford Suites in Yakima.

For the discerning elite, when nothing else will do, there is Nail Spa.

Teapot gas - State Historic Site - really.

chalk art at the Teapot

cyclonic cloud action in south east Washington State

the last little tent trailer heads home

This is the landing site used by the extraterrestrial giant slugs, commonly referred to as "Slugzu" in Japan. The slimy trail leads down to that farmhouse. Who knows who will win?? Hillbillies?? Slugzu???

This structure was built as a last-ditch defence against Slugzu... A giant anti-slime missile is housed in that silo, guarding against the inevitable...

historic Walla Walla - already on the list for a return extended visit - wine tasting shops are the predominent business on Main St.

Create employment!! Build a SuperMax!!!

Last I checked we were still in Washington, though this could easily be a scene from the deep south

Now I'm not sure if it's 2010 or 1972?

The British Oxygen Motorcycle With Sidecar Round the World Race blasts through Clarkston to Walla Walla...
