Day 5 - McCall, New Meadows, Fruitvale, Council

Lake Payette State Park - picnic zone - not a soul around on this chilly day.

In case your maps and GPS don't concur, the locals confirm, you are indeed in Fruitvale.

old courthouse in Council Idaho

acccording to this sign, dollars were allocated by the Federal govt under George W Bush for this project ..... seems progress is a tad slow! Maybe it was George himself who painted the sign - and its unique spelling of the word "houseing". Very Georgelike.

Our 1993 4-Runner's warpdrive was recently and carefully maintained by our good friends at The Garage in Vancouver. Works great. This is warp 9.3...

The last rays of the sun break through a stormy day as we arrive back in New Meadows after bunfighting the back roads to the southwest.

Great late day light on a grand old rail station in New Meadows.

There's always so much to see in good old plywood.

Night life really heating up in downtown McCall.
